Italian volleyball proves it in 2026, German sports ecosystems follow from 2027

Italy proves the model, Germany adopts it

Timeline from left to right: in 2026, the proof in Italian volleyball with the target date December 18, 2026. From 2027, the German sports ecosystems.

Two stages in 2026, then the step to Germany

  1. Stage 1: pilot from November 2026

Goal: Five real Participants exchange the first real data. Every exchange leaves proof on both sides.

  2. Stage 2: rollout until December 18, 2026

Goal: The Data Space grows to twelve Participants with real Offers and real exchanges.

  3. 2027: letters of intent form the base, German ecosystems follow

The goal is more than 25 letters of intent, three of them from Germany. German sports ecosystems follow, for example leagues and federations, state sports confederations, arena operators, and municipal sports facilities.

The proof comes in two stages: five real Participants in November, twelve in December

Staircase with target values: start at zero. Stage 1 has five real Participants in November 2026. Stage 2 has twelve Participants by December 18, 2026. Then comes the outlook for 2027.

Working means: a real Participant, a real Offer, a real transfer with proof

Sport-X counts as a working Data Space only when three things come together:

  • a real Participant with its own Data Hub (nexyo fabric)
  • a real Offer from this Participant
  • a real transfer that leaves proof on both sides

Synthetic data always carries a label. The Audit Trail counts real and synthetic data separately. A simulated exchange never counts, and nothing is backdated.
