Stage 2: rollout until December 2026
Energy per hour of use for the city, schedule meets the load profile
The arena reports kWh per hour of use to the city each month, and in the extension the schedule meets the supplier load profile.
- Arena
- Public authority
- Energy supplier
Problem
The arena knows its monthly bill, but not its use per match. The city needs one figure per venue for its energy report and renovation decisions. The energy supplier buys energy without knowing the venue schedule.
Solution
The arena publishes monthly values for power, heat and solar output with the hours of use as Offers. From this, the arena calculates kWh per hour of use and per home match and shares the figure as an Offer. The city receives it each month. As an extension, the energy supplier gets the schedule and returns the 15-minute load profile and its emission factor.
Benefit
The arena sees its use per home match, not only the monthly bill, and saves the spreadsheet report (assumption: one workday per quarter). The saving from shifted heating and lighting is open and will be measured from January 2027.
